Hi Colleen, Welcome to Sewanee. Another hike group has hikes in that area....Tennessee Trails Association. Go online and check them out. I'm in the Highland Rim group that meets monthly in Tullahoma. TTA chapters hike pretty regularly around Sewanee,
Monteagle and South Cumberland.

Hey, Colleen, the weather report for Saturday is low of 20, high of 35 and cloudy. I just took myself off the "going" list.

I just signed up for a hike on Feb. 18. Here's the info from TN State Parks: "Hike the Raven Point Loop. This 9-mile loop trail explores the head of the famous Fiery Gizzard Gulf. The terrain is rugged and beautiful so not only will you need a camera, but sturdy boots, food, and water. Meet at Grundy Forest Parking lot at 8 a.m. Central time."
